Michigan organbuilder Daniel F. Pilzecker completed his large mechanical-action instrument at St. Jude's Church in the month just prior to the competition. He also affected a major revoicing of the Casavant organ at the Mariner's Church.
Dr. Robert Noehren, former University of Michigan professor, makes a cameo appearance.
