Soloist Michael Murray appears with Eduardo Mata and the Dallas Symphony (recorded 9/2/1992); organ-only selections feature recitalist David Higgs (recorded 9-28-1992 in concert). Built as Opus 100 by C.B. Fisk, Inc., of Gloucester, Massachusetts, this instrument is one of the largest mechanical-action organs ever created for a concert hall. towering more than fifty feet above the stage, its immense cherry wood case contains 4,535 pipes (84-ranks, 4-manuals).
