The concert will take place at Wesley United Methodist Church (400 Iowa Avenue) in Muscatine, IA on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 7PM. This sequence of fourteen meditations was inspired by intense and emotive texts of Paul Claudel that describe the procession of Christ to Calvary. Dupré first improvised this music but later wrote down his thoughts, creating a powerful artistic interpretation of a moment from the Passiontide. Along with accompanying projections of artwork depicting the Stations, Barone will read English translations of the Claudel texts and Hamilton will play the church’s recent C.B. Fisk pipe organ (Op. 153). The program is free to all.

This event takes place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary (2801 East Fourth Street) in Duluth, MN, and feature’s the Cathedral’s 34-rank 1988 Robert Sipe pipe organ.
